Market Insight Case Study
Client: Law firm with Life Sciences & Healthcare practice
Our client had a strong Life Sciences and Healthcare practice, based both in the US and London, and was interested to explore what potential opportunities there might be for further growth in Germany.
We were asked to initially focus our intelligence discussions with senior in house lawyers within big pharma, mid-tier life sciences companies, smaller bio-tech organisations and med-tech device companies with the purpose of understanding key factors relating to law firm utilization and regional market trends.
Once this data was gathered, the research then turned to analysing the private practice landscape, gaining details of the organisational structures of life sciences teams in Germany, practice focuses and growth strategies of teams with leading reputations among the in house community. The report analysed nine international law firms, two full service German firms and four boutique firms.
Wilbury Stratton was then asked to assist the client with shaping its German Life Sciences and Healthcare team, with a focus on regulatory and corporate specialist lawyers across Munich, Frankfurt and Dusseldorf.
